The DrunkDuck Happy Hour Meetup Event at San Diego Comic-Con was fantastic! DrunkDuckers from all over met at the DD gathering on the first full day of the Con to attach handles and webcomics to names and faces. For one evening, it was a real-life version of DD’s tagline — “The Webcomics Community.” Snaps from the meetup are on WOWIO’s Flickr stream, along with other photos from SDCC and the Comic Cruise.

Thanks to all of the DDers who could make it — your presence was greatly appreciated. The DrunkDuck crew and other miscellaneous WOWIO-ites had a great time meeting and talking with all of you!

The WOWIO Comic Cruise at Comic-Con in San Diego was a huge success. We loved having the chance to meet readers, publishers, creators, the press, investors and other friends — old and new! And, of course, it was quite memorable for all of us to soak in the amazing and unique Comic-Con experience.
